The language program is integrated in all activities and includes oral language development, written expression, reading, the study of grammar, and children’s literature.  Basic skills in writing and reading are developed using phonetic awareness exercises, sandpaper letters, and word-building activities, encouraging children to link sounds and letter symbols effortlessly.  Children are guided to a state of fluent reading and comprehension as well as verbal self-expression and creative writing.
