Children are provided with a wealth of opportunities for self-expression, through drawing, painting, sculpting, etc. as they build motor skills in cutting, gluing, folding, as well as using pencils, markers, and brushes.  The art program introduces concepts of line, shape, colour, texture, balance and unity.  Children gain an appreciation of different artistic styles and interpretations as they explore a variety of media.
